The 4.5 in. (114 mm) 304 stainless steel blade is excellent for rust- resistance. Comes standard with a clip point style blade with line notch cutter. The black model (only) includes a blade with black chromium coating. The two-inch serrated edge along back of blade is great for cutting rope. Full tang runs the length of the handle for strength and rigidity. It protrudes out the back to provide a hammering function. Self-locking sheath provides an audible click to confirm knife engagement. Attachment point on back of handle for added security.
